HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER ONLINE?
Placing your order online is easy:

1. Select the products you wish to purchase by clicking the "Buy Now" button, appearing next to each product displayed.

2. Complete the order process at the "checkout" page, entering your name, billing/shipping address, e-mail, etc. You will then receive an e-mail from us, confirming your order with a specific order number.

3. If you ordered academic software, fax a photocopy of your current student or faculty school I.D., to us at (818) 347-4473 or (818) 347-1169. Please reference your order number on your transmittal, this is very important! You may also e-mail a scanned reproduction of your I.D. (JPEG, GIF or BMP accepted) and your order number to Sales. We cannot process your order unless we receive your school I.D.

Item availability and prices are subject to change at any time, without notice. NEEDSOFTWARE.COM reserves the right to limit quantities, and to decline the acceptance of any order for any reason. NEEDSOFTWARE.COM reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity ordered of any item. All orders will be thoroughly researched before shipping, in accordance with the policies set by NEEDSOFTWARE.COM’s Credit and Fraud Avoidance Department. ORDER CANCELLATION
An order may be canceled only if that item has not been processed and shipped. NEEDSOFTWARE.COM reserves the right to cancel an order or to issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for merchandise that is advertised in error, that does not conform to advertised specifications, or was shipped in error. Charge backs from credit card issuing banks are subject to the above policies.

BACKORDERS
At NEEDSOFTWARE.COM we make every effort to provide you with up to date inventory status and product availability information. NEEDSOFTWARE.COM will accept orders for out-of-stock items. If the item you order is not in stock, it will be placed on backorder and shipped to you when it becomes available. On orders with backordered items, the total shipping charges are included with the first shipment. Shipping charges are non-refundable. A backorder may be canceled at any time prior to shipping.

RETURN POLICY
Most items we sell come with our 30-day guarantee against defects. Defective software within this time frame will be replaced immediately, upon receipt of the defective product. Defective hardware will be replaced or repaired at our discretion. Some manufacturers, such as Hitachi, Toshiba, Compaq, IBM... must be contacted directly for product returns. Factory Refurbished items are non-returnable. Before returning any item, you must contact NEEDSOFTWARE.COM’s Returns Department via email at Support@needsoftware.com within 30 days of your invoice date for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. No returns of any type will be accepted without an RMA number. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee with a minimum of $25. Defective returns that are found to be non-defective are subject to a 25% restocking fee with a minimum of $25. NEEDSOFTWARE.COM will not accept any opened, non-defective returns. All returns are subject to the following: Shipping, insurance, and handling charges are not refundable. Returns should be shipped insured, as NEEDSOFTWARE.COM assumes no liability for lost or damaged return shipments. Save your tracking numbers, as they can prove invaluable if your return is lost in transit to us. Your purchase must be returned with shipping pre-paid. A RMA number is valid for 10 days from the date issued. The RMA number must appear on your return packing label and on the outside of the shipping box. All products must be in “as-new” condition, in original packaging and with all (blank) warranty cards, manuals, cables and accessories. Software, media and consumables are not refundable unless returned unopened in original packaging with all documentation. Laser printers, inkjet printers, fax machines, opened software and special order items may only be returned for defective replacement.

SHIPPING POLICY
Shipping charges are calculated at the time an order is placed. Total shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight of all items in your order. On orders with multiple shipments, the total shipping charges are included with the first shipment. Shipping charges are non-refundable. An additional charge of $25.00 will be charged to your credit card for any shipment that is refused. ** NEEDSOFTWARE.COM will not ship to P.O. Boxes, or anywhere outside of the United States. **

Choosing Overnight or 2-Day Delivery does not mean your order will be delivered 1 or 2 days from the time you place your order. Selecting either of these shipping options simply means that you will receive your order 1-2 days after your order has been verified and processed by our Order Processing Department. Every effort is made to process all orders within 24 hours after receiving an order, but same-day shipping is not guaranteed.

Note: Please keep in mind that our distribution centers do not process or ship orders on weekends and/or holidays.

UPS Ground shipping is not available to Hawaii or Alaska. Your UPS ground shipment will be converted to 2 Day service automatically. Back to Top


SALES TAX
NEEDSOFTWARE.COM charges sales tax on all shipments to the states of California, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Maryland and Washington DC. If your package ships from a distribution center in the state in which you reside, a sales tax may apply. You, the customer, are responsible for any and all unpaid sales taxes.

CREDIT CARDS
NEEDSOFTWARE.COM accepts Visa Mastercard & Discover credit cards, and there is no surcharge for using your credit card to make a purchase. Please be sure to provide the exact billing address and telephone number as recorded with your credit card issuing bank. We will ship to an alternate address only if the address is on file with your credit card issuing bank. Incorrect information may cause a delay in the processing of your order. MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
All returns and replacements must be handled directly through the manufacturer anytime after the first 30 days of invoice. Manufacturer’s warranties vary on each product. Extended warranties are available directly from select manufacturers. Manufacturer information is subject to change without notice. Please contact the manufacturer to obtain warranty information.

Any litigation regarding this agreement, or any transaction between a customer and R-Tech Computers, Inc., shall be brought to the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California and customer hereby agrees and submits to such jurisdiction and venue as proper.

TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, NEEDSOFTWARE.COM shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price without prior notification. NEEDSOFTWARE.COM shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and the order is canceled, NEEDSOFTWARE.COM shall immediately issue a credit to the credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
